Where does the waste go?

Green, clean and more socially responsible; Venue 114 is recognised for it’s sustainable approach to venue and event management through the EarthCheck Evaluate program. Where possible, food waste and coffee grinds go to compost in the Eastbank Edible Community Garden at Bokarina which is beautifully managed by the Dirty Fingernails Society!

General Waste; as an event venue we are conscious of our footprint in this area and actively source suppliers who have a shared purpose to reduce packaging and embrace biodegradable technology.

Water; with chilled filtered water stations situated throughout the venue and aluminium bottles of pure Australian spring water available, staying plastic-free is made easy at Venue 114.

As one of the only Earthcheck Evaluate venues on the Sunshine Coast; when you host your event at Venue 114, not only are you in safe hands, you are in green hands.
