Where does the waste go?

Where possible, food waste and coffee grinds go to compost in the Eastbank Edible Community Garden at Bokarina which is beautifully managed by the Dirty Fingernails Society!

General Waste; as an event venue we are conscious of our footprint in this area and actively source suppliers who have a shared purpose to reduce packaging and embrace biodegradable technology.

Water; with chilled filtered water stations situated throughout the venue and aluminium bottles of pure Australian spring water available, staying plastic-free is made easy at Venue 114.
