Pretending to be a pirate or in the company of pirates is a fantasy of many. Set sail with this swashbuckling troupe in a classic comedy that boasts the most famous of patter songs in musical theatre. Gather together a group of tender-hearted pirates, a motley crew of policemen and a bevy of beauties, under the brash but endearing Pirate King who challenges a delightfully stuffy Major General Stanley, and you have the musical comedy “Pirates of Penzance”.
